Canon G7x Review:
The Canon G7x is a bit of an odd duck–while the company for many years has chosen to carve their own path for their products, the camera is billed as being the little sibling to the G1X Mk II.It uses a 1-inch sensor big enough to produce great images but small enough to allow a genuinely pocketable camera design. It offers a 1"-type, 20MP BSI sensor mated to an F1.8-2.8 zoom starting at 24mm equivalent, inside its sleek exterior, which is a pretty close match for the S120's, is a new 20.2-million-pixel, one-inch back-illuminated sensor and a Digic 6 processing engine. As a compact camera, it has a fixed lens and Canon has plumped for an 8.8-36.8mm optic, which is equivalent to a 24-100mm f/1.8-2.8 lens in 35mm terms.
