Sony A5000 Review:
The Sony A5000 is the part of this phasing out, taking the place of the Sony NEX-3N. A5000 is equipped with an E-mount, which with the camera's APS-C sized sensor, applies a 1.5x field reduction to all lenses. Included in its compact body is a 20MP APS-C image sensor and a convenient built-in flash. The LCD can tilt 180 degrees – ideal for self-portraits – and a zoom lever on the body of the camera for easier one-handed operation. The Alpha A5000 is typically sold in a kit with the SELP1650 16-50mm f3.5-5.6 Power Zoom lens, a retractable design which when powered-down collapses to just over 30mm thick. Combined with a light weight of just 116g, this allows the A5000 to enjoy a compact form factor that's much more portable than when fitted with the earlier 18-55mm kit zoom.
